Cancellation Policy
Canceling Your Website Plan
We believe in keeping things clear and straightforward. Here's exactly how canceling an AVL Websites monthly plan works — during your initial term and after.
During Your Initial Term
If you're still in your first 12 months
Your website partnership begins with a 12-month initial term. If you need to cancel before that term is complete, a capped cancellation fee of [EARLY TERMINATION FEE — TBD] applies. This is not the full remaining balance — it's a capped amount that reflects the design and production work already completed on your website.
We'll walk you through exactly what that looks like before you ever sign anything — nothing about this is buried in fine print.
After Your Initial Term
After your first 12 months
Once your initial 12-month term is complete, your plan becomes month-to-month. You can cancel anytime with [NOTICE PERIOD — TBD] of written notice — no fee, no pressure. Just let us know in writing and we'll take care of the rest.
Canceling is different from owning your website
Cancellation means your website is taken down and the AVL Websites service ends. A buyout (our Website Ownership Option) means you keep the site and pay a one-time fee to own it outright, so it can be moved to another hosting provider.

What happens to your site and data
- Your website stays live for a grace period of [GRACE PERIOD — TBD] after cancellation so you have time to plan your next step.
- Photos and video delivered to you during the partnership remain yours to use for your business.
- Business data we hold on your behalf is removed according to our data retention policy once the grace period ends.
